Jissecca’s Filipino Cafe & Bakery is dedicated to creating your dream cake of your special occasion and desserts. We create our pastries to cater to the needs of your desired liking's from the flavor, filling, to the icings and even party favors. We will use our expertise to listen to your suggestions and come to an agreement to your liking from your online order. You may also share with us a photograph for inspiration or replication; however, we make no claims for the same exact replication of the work being done. We want to be certain that the cake meets your expectations to what you have hoped for.

Please be sure to place an order for a cake about two weeks before your special occasion. This will assure you enough time to order the ingredients and decorations for the cake of your dreams. If something is not to your liking at pick up time as specified in your order, we will make the changes right away as necessary. All cake orders and decorations are hand-made.

Payments

For all orders of $200 or less, a full payment is required at the time of order placement. For all orders over $200, a minimum 50% deposit is required, and credit card information will be retained (card will be charged for balance due if order is not picked up by store closing time on the order date). Alternatively, you may choose to pre-pay the entire order balance (in this case, credit card information will not be retained since the order is already paid in full).

Orders are not considered confirmed and are subject to cancellation without notice if the required deposits or payments are not made. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Refunds

As each cake or pastry is handcrafted, we are unable to give back a full refund. When an item is ordered and picked up, it is accepted by the client. If a refund is being requested due to color, shade, design, writing, or decorating style, it will not be accepted after signing for your item. We may consider if you would like to adjust your specialty cake, however that will be an additional charge.

Deposit Policy

Orders $200 and under require full payment. Orders over $200, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when a specialty cake is ordered within a minimum of two weeks in advance. Without a deposit, we will not be able to complete your order. The cake sketching will be started when the 50% non-refundable deposit is received.

Cancellation Policy

If you are canceling an order, it must be done two weeks in advance to get a 75% refund on specialty cakes only. Any orders that are cancelled less than two weeks in advance are non-refundable. If the event is changed due to illness, death, emergency, etc., we may be able to work with you for a future date without the loss of your deposit, preferably a 48-hour notice.

Since our items are handmade fresh with the best ingredients, cancellation on any other items may result in a 50% refund only.

Damages

Once cakes and pastries leave our property, they are the client’s responsibility if picked-up. All cakes and pastries that are hand delivered are carefully packaged and stored. If we are making the delivery and the specialty cake is damaged when received, please send us an image of the damaged cake within 2 days after your event date. We will refund 15% of your money; please allow two weeks for this to be processed. Please keep in mind, a refund will not be issued after the 2-day window.
